How can I get naturally healthy, longer African American hair?

My hair is really dry and uncontrollable. It gets damaged and frizzy reall easily. And it starts sticking out everytime i move my head, so then i have to constantly pat it down. And my hair starts falling out when I comb it about 4 weeks after a perm.

-I drink 8 glasses of water a day
-I take biotin
-I wrap my hair every night
-I exercise 2-3 times a week
-I'm "trying" to eat healthy

What am I doing wrong? Please help!

you need to do deep conditioners like every few weeks you can either make one or buy one from the store.

the perm makes your hair weaker because of the chemicals so that might be why its falling out.

also moisturize with natural oils (jojoba, olive,flax seed etc)

how can i get rid of acne naturally but still keep my skin healthy?

If you naturally have a high metabolism, does that make you healthy?

I was wondering this. I don't exercise at all except for walking dogs at a shelter and walking around campus. I always maintain a weight between 130-145lbs (at 20yrs old), which tells me I have a very fast metabolism. Does this make me healthy? Or does weight not really matter in this instance? I mean, I'm still burning the calories, right?

Hi Chinnie, a healthy weight doesn't mean you are healthy. For starters not knowing how tall you are means at that weight you could be underweight or overweight or healthy depending on your height.

Exercising and eating a perfect number of calories to make certain you stay at a healthy weight does not mean you are healthy if that food doesn't satisfy your nutritional requirements. Many women and some men weigh healthy weight but have iron or calcium defeciencies or don't have enough fibre in there diet etc etc.

Walking dogs and walking around campus is an active pursuit and as such burns calories, probably more than many people ould think. If you combine what you are doing with a healthy lifestyle and healthy eating then potentially you will be healthy, all things being equal.

What is a quick, healthy, naturally energy-boosting breakfast? (no meat)?

I need a quick breakfast that I can eat on the go, that is healthy, and will give me energy. No meat please.

Oh baby take a page from my book!! Every morning before heading to the gym (for TWO HOURS)… I eat 8 to 9 ounces of pureed pumpkin sprinkled with cinnamon, nutmeg & stevia… and a poached egg - now I am not sure if you eat eggs or not being that you don't want to eat meat and eggs could be considered meat… but if you don't you do need to find a protein that you can/let yourself eat because having a combination of carbs, protein and healthy fat is key to boosting energy!

Im almost 18 trying 2 concieve naturally I been tryin for 10mnths now GYN says Im healthy so whats stoppin me?

I've been feeling nausea around certain smells and foods but I doubt it if I am I dnt think I can get pregnant I'm scared to find out if I am and I'm scared I might not be but if I can get some advise and help on how to do this easy quick and done with I would appreciate the help.

youre best to go get some blood tests down, when i was 18 the doc told me i couldnt have children due to ovaries. i now have 4 children.

Dying my hair is out of the question but I want to make my hair lighter in a healthy way that won't damage it long term. I need to lighten my hair before Halloween if at all possible.

I want to lose 65 lbs. in six months in a healthy way. How can I do this naturally?

After I lose 65 lbs. my weight will be 130 lbs. My height is 5'2. Right now my BMI is 39 which means I am obese. I will not die and I will not be anorexic if I lose 65 lbs.
